One of the most stunning warbirds in the world, the T6 Texan is a true legend in the skies! Built in 1944, this aircraft served with the 353rd Fighter Group in Suffolk and has since been restored to award-winning perfection—earning the prestigious Reserve Grand Champion WWII prize at AirVenture Oshkosh.
With its 600 HP Pratt & Whitney Wasp engine, the Texan roars through the sky, turning heads with its deep, raw sound. Its historically accurate paint scheme pays tribute to the aviation heroes of the past, while its smoke system adds an extra visual punch to every display.
The latest addition to the SDJ Aerobatics fleet is a true aviation treasure! This 92-year-old masterpiece, powered by a 7-cylinder, 220 HP Continental engine, is an absolute rarity—only two of its kind are still flying in Europe.
Built by the legendary WACO, this aircraft is the definition of vintage luxury. Step inside, and you’ll be transported to the golden age of aviation—leather armchairs, gleaming chrome details, and a handcrafted burl wood cockpit console make every flight a journey back in time.
The Boeing Stearman is one of the most iconic biplanes in aviation history, originally serving as the training aircraft for US pilots during World War II. Today, these vintage planes still captivate with their distinctive sound and elegant design, powered by a 7-cylinder Continental engine.
At SDJ Aerobatics, we’re proud to offer not one, but two carefully restored Stearmans, each with its own story and charm.
Stearman N79535 – A recent addition to our fleet, this aircraft flew directly from Hungary to Belgium in 2022. With its stunning classic colours, smoke system, and graceful maneuvers, it’s a crowd favorite at airshows and fly-ins across Europe.
Stearman N66RW – A true veteran, built on 21 August 1941. Based in Ostend for almost 10 years, this historic trainer blends nostalgia with impressive aerial performance, thrilling audiences with its agility and charm.
